Matrix of criminologically significant information in the knowledge of juvenile delinquency

Introduction: this article is devoted to the problem of cognition of modern criminality of minors. The paper defines a matrix (system) of criminologically significant information, which includes the structure, content, theoretical and methodological approach to the knowledge of juvenile delinquency. Materials and Methods: the methodological basis of this work is the universal dialectical method of cognition of the criminological and methodological foundations of the study of juvenile delinquency. When writing this work, the author applied general scientific methods of cognition: historical and legal method, method of formalization, analogy, comparison, generalization, method of differentiation, as well as system-structural analysis, and private scientific methods of cognition: thematic content analysis of the media, analytical survey, statistical research. Results: the author presents a matrix (system) of criminologically significant information. Its role in the process of cognition of modern juvenile delinquency is noted. Discussion and Conclusions: it is established that the study of factors involving juveniles in criminal activity, through the conduct of planned criminological monitoring (at the level of subjects, as well as at the federal level) of juvenile delinquency, acquires high theoretical and practical value in order to prevent this type of crime.
