Media companies of the west and the problem of “glocalization” in the media

The article deals with the problems of global media processes interrelations with monopolization in media markets. The idea of glocalization is stressed due to greater role of media information in local affairs. The conclusions are drawn about “centaur” gist of transnational media corporations functioning.
