The paper reconstructs the history of modern Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) media landscape formation. The authors analyze social history of the Media professional of the last twenty years as well as update the problems of the influence of the media on the modern axiosphere of young Russians on the example of one of the most remote regions of the Russian Federation, which is distinguished by almost universal bilingualism not only at the verbal level, but also in consumption practices in fiction, theater, film production and the media. The paper first describes data received by the authors in the course of scientific research in 2014-2015, that are interesting not only in terms of social history of the region, but also as the empirical base that allows us to trace the socio-cultural dynamics of the last decade.
