Medialogy and documentology: correlation of concepts

The article presents the idea that documentology has a common area of interest related to the document as a means of recording information. At the same time, if the concept of "means" is key for medialogy, then documentology tends to avoid it due to its extreme polysemicity. It calls for the rejection of the confrontation with documentology inherent in individual dialogues, and sets the goal for cooperation between these two disciplines.
