The article deals with the problems of scientific and media modi interrelations in mass media and scientific texts. The role of media modulus in scientific knowledge proliferation and mass education is underlined. The opinions of scientists concerning media texts as media modulus manifestation in culture are investigated. The conclusions are drawn about the status of such media texts among other cultural texts.
