Mechanical disk hopper feeders for cartridges and their elements

The article discusses the most common semi-finished products, cartridges and their elements, which are supplied to the technological equipment of cartridge production in an oriented position by automatic feeding systems with mechanical disk bunker feeders. The criteria for selecting the required type of hopper feeding device for a given object are considered, depending on its geometric properties and the required feed rate of the process equipment. Application areas and object orientations are shown in improved designs of mechanical disk hopper feeders for a wide variety of objects with both explicit and implicit asymmetry.
