The mechanism for forming accessible environment in railway transport

The formation of an accessible environment that allows people with disabilities to exercise their rights in all spheres of public life is one of the priorities of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of disability. Effective social integration of disabled people is impossible without accessible passenger transport. In the passenger complex of Russian Railways, systemic measures are being taken to create a barrier-free environment in railway transport for people with limited mobility of consumers of transport services. However, to date, there is no description of the mechanism for the formation of an accessible environment in relation to railway transport, despite the fact that certain aspects of this process are widely considered in various sources.
