The mechanism of the formation of nanoscale Ni clusters on surfaces of LiF crystals

Бесплатный доступ

In this work the research of properties, structure and the mechanism of formation of a surface film of nanoscale clusters of nickel, created during thermal diffusion in LiF:Ni crystals, has been made. The sur-face film consists of impurity Ni and of products of thermal decomposition of atmospheric gases. Inten-sity of a 405 nm band (Nia2+) has very small decreases, but the amount of a nickel impurity on surface of LiF:Ni has increases. The accelerated diffusion along dislocations is observed mainly.
