The article forms approaches to substantiating the mechanisms of using digital technologies in the tourism business. It is established that the functioning of digital systems in the activities of tourist enterprises makes it possible to clarify the evolutionary nature of these systems and determine the stages of the life cycle, to develop a mechanism for adapting a digital management system. At the same time, the modern innovative and informational stage of the development of domestic tourism necessitated the addition of periodization of historical aspects of digital systems, which were divided into stages: early, initial and moderate development, the stage of active mass development. A characteristic element of this stage is the introduction of virtualization processes that facilitate the movement of tourist entities to a higher stage of their functioning. Another important aspect of digital models is new forms of mediation. In fact, the traditional intermediaries that consumers interact with directly through travel service providers are starting to disappear. Thanks to the Internet, the relationship between travel companies and customers is facilitated, which allows the travel company to collect information about the tastes of current or potential customers. At the same time, the client can compare the prices of different travel companies, which leads to a dynamic price: the price is constantly adjusted depending on the supply, demand and life expectancy of tourist services.
