The forms and mechanisms of state support for cruise tourism and cruise companies in Europe and Russia are considered, the role of state support for the development of cruise services in Russia is defined. The problems that limit the development of cruise tourism, and promising areas are identified, measures for the implementation of state support for cruise tourism, which will allow to realize the potential of cruise tourism are proposed.
