Mechanisms of muscle-energetic disorders in glycogen storage disease

The article is devoted to the study of mechanisms of muscle-energetic disorders in glycogen disease, the main pathogenetic stages of development, defects of enzymes involved in glycogen metabolism, and the reasons for the decrease in the energy potential of cells are considered. General information about the incidence of the disease, clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods and principles of treatment of glycogen disease is presented.
