Mechanisms of leptin regulation of microbicidal activity of monocytes in peripheral blood of women's

The influence of leptin in doses, characteristic for I and II-III trimesters of pregnancy, on microbicidal activity of monocytes of women is investigated. It is established, that hormone differently modulated activity of elastase, cathepsin G and mieloperoxidase. Leptin did not influence on spontaneous luminol-dependent chemiluminescence and expressed dose-dependent activating effect on zymosan-induced luminol-dependent chemiluminescence. Molecular mechanisms of leptin regulation of microbicidal activity of monocytes are connected with scavenger-receptor.
