This article describes the method of creating a grading as a basis for effective personnel policy of the enterprise. Considering the successful system created by the American scientist Edwardian N. Hay, the author proves the relevance and prospects, as well as the goals and methods of implementation of this method. At the present stage of economic development of the country exacerbated the struggle for human capacity, the acute problem of attracting and retaining key personnel, consider the solution of the problem by grading staff.
