In the article fine valuable minerals of placer deposits (gold, zirconium-titanium, monazite, and diamonds) and possibly of their extraction them in exploitation of building sands and sandy-gravel sediments were examined. The numerous examples of placer deposits with fine grains of valuable minerals were given.
