Memorialization of the heritage of the Great Patriotic War in the Republic of Buryatia at the present stage

The article considers the issues of commemorating the participants of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers and children of the war in Burya-tia in 2000-2020. The authors identify the objects of memorialization of the heritage of the Great Patriotic War installed during the specified period both in Ulan-Ude and in the municipalities of the republic. The authors characterize the legal acts of the Russian Federation that regulate the issues of perpetuating the memory of war veterans and defenders of the homeland.
