Measures to protect the Russian domestic market subject to western trade restrictions

The relevance of developing and applying an effective system of measures to protect the domestic market, national producers from dumping competition, sanctions and other unfair actions on the part of companies from unfriendly countries always remains a significant problem that requires timely and effective solutions. The article shows the negative impact of Western restrictions on the state of the Russian manufacturing sector, which predetermined the adoption by the EEC of reciprocal protective decisions throughout the EAEU space, including such instruments as special, anti-dumping and countervailing measures. At the same time, the use of a public procurement mechanism that can support producers in their adaptation to modern economic realities does not contradict the rules of the international community and the WTO.
