Local periodicals circulating over the Civil War time (October 1917 to 1920) (upon the data taken from the archives of Ivanovo-Vosnesensk’, Vladimir’ & Kostroma provinces)

In the years of Revolution and Civil war, newspapers and periodicals were one of the core elements of propaganda schemas in Russia, as they stand today. One could hardly perceive the history of Russia of that period without a comprehensive review of the then press, taking into account the part and position they had taken in struggle of concepts. This paper considered local periodicals having circulated round the provinces of Upper Volga.
