A range of issues concerning the progress of municipal reform in the RF is viewed. The analysis of certain provisions of the Fedearl Law №131-FZ On the general principles of local self-government organization in the Russian Federation is given, propositions on legislation perfection in this sphere aimed to achieving goals of the municipal reform in Russia in behalf of social stability and rise of population's life quality are given.
