The place of archeology in the projects of the organization of the Voronezh provincial museum in the XIX century

The article focuses on the establishment of Voronezh Provincial Museum in the 19th century. The author studies the specificity of formation of the provincial museum in the city of Voronezh in the context of the development of Russian museology. He also underlines significant role of archaeology in the projects on the establishment of the provincial museum.
