The place and the role of small innovation enterprises in the national innovation system

Modern challenges to the Russian economy are very complex. They are aggravated economic sanctions by the USA and West countries and these economic sanctions have a negative impact on the progressive economic development of the country. One way of counteraction to these challenges is a building not resource - based, but the innovation model of Russias economic development. First of all, this model presumes the creation of modern science-intensive industrial constructions and modernization of operating enterprises on new technological basis. A special place must take small innovation enterprises (SIE) in these processes. This is due the experience of developed countries - a small innovation business is one of the main implementation centers of high-end technologies, especially. This article is examined the problematic of operating small innovation enterprises as a part of the national innovation system; the paper is provided the assessment of the effectiveness of SIE interaction with various stakeholders of Russias innovation infrastructure.
