The place and role of risks in the economic activity of an entrepreneur

The article discusses the main aspects of determining the risks of entrepreneurial activity, their place and role in the process of carrying out this activity, as well as possible approaches to risk management faced by the enterprise. Entrepreneurial risks are an integral part of the economic activity of the enterprise. For this reason, its effectiveness and efficiency depends on the quality of the risk management system. The modern conditions of the economy of the Russian Federation are characterized by instability, which generates instability of the external environment of entrepreneurial activity. The purpose of this work is to study the nature and role of risk in the modern economy, as well as methods of overcoming them with the help of a risk management system. The company’s business risk management policy is to organize a risk assessment system and their further management, the task of which is to ensure the economic security of production activities.
