The place of inventory in the financial and economic activities of an enterprise

Inventory (stocktaking) is an important process for commercial enterprises which involves counting and verifying available assets and commitments of a business entity. The paper considers the main goals of stocktaking as well as its impact on the enterprise activity. Still, the new Federal Accounting Standard 28/2023 “Inventory” will be applied on and after April, 1 2025. The authors investigated compliance of the new regulatory document with modern requirements.
