The article examines the prospects for Russia in the field of hydrogen energy associated with the growing importance of the climate agenda and the trend towards decarbonization of economies. The main incentives and obstacles for the formation of hydrogen energy in Russia and in the world are classified, a critical analysis of Russia's competitive advantages in the emerging hydrogen market is carried out.
