The paper identifies the role of modern computer technologies in the innovative activity of the industrial complex. Such attention is due to the transition of human society to a new stage of its development, where the competing resource is information and data. In this regard, the authors give a description of information computer technologies and highlight the main factors that influence their further development. In turn, they are represented by computing power, automation of production, complication of simulated computer systems, large-scale development of artificial intelligence systems and the emergence of universal robotic technology.
