The article discusses the development of metabolic syndrome in military officers. There is a steady rise among the officers since 2002 alimentary-constitutional obesity (ACO) to 49% in 2015. The marked correlation ACO and development of metabolic syndrome. In medical establishment Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation developed and successfully applied a comprehensive method of treatment of officers carrying daily duty in terms of hypodynamia and hypokinesia, as well as suffering from the metabolic syndrome. Comprehensive treatment includes hirudotherapy, acupuncture, That manual therapy combined with psychological and psychotherapeutic correction lifestyle, including eating behavior in patients with manifestations of metabolic syndrome, that leads to increased adaptation reserves and improving the quality of life. In the study using the methods of traditional medicine are shown what is the application of complex treatment methods of conventional medicine allows you to effectively correct AKO with a fairly severe persistent lasting effect.
