The article considers the possibility of interpretation of metaphor as a mechanism of self-constitution of ego, analyzes the function of metaphor in the knowledge production and transfer. The author shows that metaphor reflects the moment of self-constitution of ego and can be an effective knowledge transfer tool because her interpretation may result in the changes in «subject’s mode of being».
