The metaphor of journey and the necessity of return

The article analyzes the tendency of reconsideration of the Western European thought sources, which originated at the turn of the XX century. The opposition of journey and return is taken as a basic one. The return supposes the reciprocating reflexive movement, while the journey implements any given necessity of movement. Thus, the necessity of return is substantiated as one of the key features of the modern thought.
