The article describes the methods of art therapy in the work of a teacher-psychologist with adolescents. Metaphorical associative cards are presented as a tool of art therapy, the work with which is based on the principles of projective techniques. With the help of maps, a space of dialogue is created during consultations. Thanks to this, the teacher-psychologist designs the line of interaction with the adolescent. When communicating with students, cards are used to develop intuition, imagination, communication, the ability to solve difficult life situations in constructive, socially acceptable ways. The author reviews the metaphorical associative cards used in his professional activities, showing the specificity of each instrument and its focus in correcting certain personality traits of adolescents. The article emphasizes that in the process of working with students, negative experiences are transformed into positive ones, anxiety is replaced by the acceptance of the situation and the creation of a projection of the future.
