Metaphorization as the most powerful instrument of activating reflexion provides a basis for further regulating the process of fiction text interpretation by means of controlling the reader’s reflexion activity within the modal score of sense processing. Thus metaphorization and modality in a fiction text appear to function as interrelated mechanisms predetermining succesessfulness of its understanding.
