The article deals with the study of the metaphorical image of mass audience which is actualized through metaphorical models functioning in the entertainment discourses of Russia and the USA. The author analyses the universal and specific features of mentality of the compared countries’ representatives through the unfolding peculiarities of metaphorical models in the entertainment discourse.
