The article is devoted to the individual character of the narrative strategy in Pasternak’s novel. In particular, discourse metaphors that manifest the narrative strategy of revelation are studied. Metaphorical subtexts «treasure - hiding place - casket», «truth - cover - curtain», «connectivity - thread - fabric», «miracle - creative work - resurrection» are analyzed from the viewpoint of their functioning in narration.
