Metaldeform conference: history and development

Paper represents the main directions of Samara scientists' fundamental researches in the base of scientific school in metal physics and deforming processes mechanics. The role of Metal Pressure Working Department of Samara state aerospace university and Volga Branch of A.A.Baikov Institute of Metallurgy (1998-2000 y.y.) and Material Science is shown in development of connections between Samara scientists-metallurgists and academician and industrial organizations in Russia and abroad. The beginnings, stages and development of International Science and Technical Conference “Metaldeform” organized in Samara State Aerospace University are shown. This Conference became traditional and gathers the scientists every five years since 1998.
