Meteorological substantiation of the sustainable work of vetrogenerators on the example of Iceland

In this work, based on the data of weather stations in Iceland, an analysis of synoptic situations was made and the reasons for a) long windless weather in the country b) strong storm winds were identified. It was found that reanalysis provides a very rough estimate of the situation in the region due to the rather large spatial resolution of the grid (0.7 degrees).
