Method for evaluation of heat - shielding properties of clothing materials and their packages

Research was conducted on the development of a method and an automated installation for determining the heat-shielding properties of clothing materials used for the manufacture of combat clothing for firefighters. The developed universal measuring device for determining the heat-shielding properties of clothing materials and their packages makes it possible to reproduce the temperature of the reliable space and the environmental parameters within a wide range. The method for determining the indices of heat-shielding properties is based on the dependencies describing the processes taking place in the units of the installation and the material under investigation during the tests.
