Determination of beta-lytic activity of blood in cattle

The authors presented the modification of established procedure for determination of beta-lytic activity of blood in cattle by means of the increase of incubation time of mixture of blood plasma with suspension of grass bacillus in sucrose solution. The advantages of modified technique in comparison with established one were discussed. It was shown, that the increase of incubation time of mixture of blood plasma with suspension of grass bacillus in sucrose solution to 180 min. permit to increase a sensitivity of this method up to 50 %, that is caused by lysis of agglutinate.
