Signal identification method based on wavelet-packets

A feature forming method for signal identification based on wavelet-packet processing is offered. The results of theoretical and experimental research confirming separation of the feature spaces formed are presented. The effect is achieved due to application of more complicated signal processing procedures which use scale-time analysis techniques.
