The article analyzes the importance of costs for containers and packaging in the petrochemical industry, where packaging solutions play a key role. The paper proposes a costing model for calculating the cost of soft container packaging, which takes into account such factors as materials, production costs and environmental aspects. The model allows petrochemical companies to determine packaging costs relevant to the market in accordance with the growth of profitability and competitiveness of the business. The proposed model for calculating the costs of soft container packaging is a universal tool that can be adapted for various enterprises in the industry. As part of this study, a comprehensive analysis of the factors influencing the formation of the cost of soft container packaging in the petrochemical industry was carried out. To develop a costing model, scientific publications, industry reports and regulatory documents were studied, including. As part of this work, the following were collected: price quotes for polymeric materials for 2025, raw material price dynamics and inflation indicators. Price lists of various soft container manufacturers were also analyzed. The calculation methodology reflects the pricing formula for soft container packaging, taking into account the raw material and inflation components, as well as the environmental fee. The formula was tested on three different types of soft container packaging with different material compositions. An economic tool is used to verify the calculated prices with market data to check the accuracy. During the work, statistical analysis and MS Excel were used for modeling and visualizing data. The results of the study have both theoretical and practical significance, providing companies with a methodology for reducing costs and increasing the efficiency of using packaging solutions.
