Physiological face recognition in the thermal infrared spectrum under various environments conditions

This paper presents an approach for thermal images analysis for intelligent video surveillance systems. In this work we demonstrate an automatic face recognition method in thermal infrared spectrum under various environments conditions. The obtained results are promising and show the effectiveness of proposed scheme on a database of 1377 thermal images of 135 persons of different gender, age, health status, taken under different environmental conditions.
