The article examines the essence of credit policy and its importance for the functioning of an enterprise in market conditions. The main purpose of the formation of the credit policy has been determined. The main types of credit policy in relation to customers are characterized. The methods of evaluating potential buyers for the possibility of providing them with a loan have been studied.
