Methodological basis for determining profitability of oil wells

Increasing the efficiency of oil-producing enterprises in Russia can be called one of the advanced factors of national production. In the oil sector, the source of profit is the production and sale of crude oil. The minimum production unit should be an oil well rather than a single deposit, as is generally assumed in the broad sense. The article considers factors affecting the profitability of the oil production enterprise, defines approaches to the formation of profitability indicators both in the detail of oil wells and the field in the total, at the end a comparative analysis of the obtained data was carried out.
