Methodological approach to assess forest biomass potential for municipal bioenergy

In the article methodical features of an estimation of potential of a wood biomass received in the course of preparation of wood from various kinds of felling and from processing of wood raw materials are considered. The specifics of the estimation of the natural, actual and economically available potential resource of woody biomass are described. The stages of work on the assessment of the potential of forest energy biomass are indicated.
