Methodological approaches to forecast calculations in the system of higher and secondary vocational education

Based on statistical information from 1995 to the present, trend functions of 5 indicators characterizing the development of higher and secondary vocational education have been formed. The factor indicators that have the greatest impact on the indicators of higher and secondary vocational education have been identified. An attempt to make predictive calculations of indicators of higher and secondary vocational education by extrapolation methods (analytical alignment and using correlation and regression analysis) led to the reasonable conclusion that these forecasting methods are not suitable for the studied area of the economy. Original methodological approaches to forecasting and planning calculations in the field of higher and secondary vocational education are proposed. Specific functional dependencies have been formed.
