Methodological maintainance of specific work on food, non-timber forest products amd medicinal plants resource stock measurement

During the cadastral valuation of the contract out forest territories, the specific work on food, non-timber forest production and medicinal plants resource stock measurement can be necessary. This work does not take place in usual forest management. The methods for evaluation of food, non-timber forest production and medicinal plants resource stock were described and analyzed in the article, including the dependence on the target of planned taxation work and accuracy of the data registration. In particular, authors analyze the quantitative and visual taxation or appraisal by points methods during the field taxation. The procedure of stock counting using normative sheets for different kinds of resources is shown. The methods for evaluation of plant resources stock, reviewed in the article, provide an opportunity to systematize the existing taxation methods and use them both in scientific and in production targets, for example, in contracting out forest territories.
