Methodology for analysis and assessment of project risks

The relevance of the study is due to the increased degree of project risks in most sectors of the Russian economy and, in particular, in the construction industry. The digital technologies and methodological developments in the field of project risk management provide significant potential for improving the efficiency of project implementation. The purpose of the study is to characterize modern approaches to the analysis and risk assessment of projects in the construction industry. The article reveals the importance of the construction industry in the Russian economy, defines the concept of project risks, reviews the main risk management procedures, considers the main types of project risks in construction, and characterizes the qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing the risks of construction projects. The scientific novelty of the study lies in a detailed analysis of the concept of project risks, summarizing of approaches to risk assessment of construction projects. The article considers the possibility of adapting the described risk assessment methods for project management within the construction industry. The documentary method, tabular and graphical methods, economic and mathematical method were used as research methods.
