As a result of studying the theoretical and practical bases of the organization of intermodal transport by the author it was concluded that need increasing the proportion of intermodal transport in the company, especially with the use of a reliable and environmentally friendly type of rail transportability; the need for cooperation of «Delovie Linii» with FESCO transport group in the organization of domestic freight. In the process of studying the information on this topic, proposed by various experts in the field of logistics and analysis of one of the leading companies in the market of international transportation «Delovie Linii», measures have been proposed to improve the efficiency and optimization of logistic processes in the organization of intermodal transport.
