The efficiency evaluating method of the activity of the organization of the sphere of culture (the case of Saint-Petersburg museums)

The article proposes the author’s methodology for evaluating the effectivenessof the activities of organizations in the cultural sphere, based on the principles of the formation of complex economic indices at the macro level. Four groups of components of the integral index are proposed, reflecting financial stability, level of innovative development, quality of business processes and efficiency of work with the staff of the organization. An algorithm for the compilation of an integral performance indicator based on economic and mathematical modeling and regression analysis in Excel is described. An example is given of calculating the integral efficiency indicator in compiling the effectiveness rating of museums in St. Petersburg
