Methodology for assessing the qualitative performance for spraying based on the analysis of the tonal image of the object in the file color space

The development of new approaches and development tools in the agro-industrial complex is an important link in the planning of measures aimed at the implementation of priority directions of the global ecological culture. The formation of the given measures prioritizes technologies in the field of agricultural production, the introduction of which promotes competent restoration of soil fertility, decreases environmental pollution. As a result, new production technologies can improve the quality of life of all mankind. Determination of qualitative performance for new technologies in the field of agriculture actualizes the tasks to develop and implement new methods for assessing the qualitative performance for technological operations. The aim of the proposed research is to develop a technical solution to assess the qualitative performance for spraying with information technology in use. There has been described the order of assessing indicator strips used to assess the density of coverage of the impacted object with the working solution and the size of the droplets deposited on the contact surface of the object during soil and plant protection and nutrition operations. Weaknesses of traditional methods of assessing qualitative performance have been revealed, and the method involving the use of software product for a computer, allowing to conduct processing of the received data more effectively, has been offered. Application of the software product when calculating the qualitative performance for spraying allows to perform calculations quickly and efficiently and to assess the disperse composition and density of coverage based on the graphical distribution, as well as to draw a conclusion about the level of environmental safety of the technological process of spraying pesticides based on the assessment of the droplet size. To increase labor productivity and reduce the influence of human factor on the accuracy of assessing the coverage of indicator strips treated by the working solution, processing of the obtained research results is performed by analyzing the tonal image of working solution droplets in the file color space.
