Method for high precision assessment of wireless alarm security

In this article the authors evaluate the quantitative precision gain of the method for assessing the security of wireless alarm based on fuzzy logic in comparison with the method for assessing the security of wireless alarm based on a fuzzy rule matrix. It is shown that the quantitative security estimates obtained using the fuzzy logic estimation method are 15-19% more accurate than the quantitative security estimates obtained using the security evaluation method based on the fuzzy rule matrix. Due to this quantitative gain, it is possible to calculate a more precise quantitative assessment of the security of different wireless alarms, and also to rank them by the criterion of security. After an appropriate adaptation the proposed approach can be used to quantify the security of other communication channels for different types of alarms, for example, for wired communication channels, as well as for a wide class of wireless security systems.
