Problems in the formation and utilization of labor resources in the agricultural sector of the Kyrgyz Republic

This article critically analyzes the challenges in labor resource formation and utilization within the agricultural sector of the Kyrgyz Republic's market economy. The study is driven by the strategic importance of the agrarian sector to the national economy, the urgent need to optimize employment processes, and the significant impact of migration flows. It assesses the unique aspects of labor supply to farms and identifies its key determining factors. The research reveals insights into the overall unemployment level and persistent issues within the country's agricultural sector. It analyzes unemployment across age groups and educational qualifications, with particular attention given to the dynamics of unemployment among various educational cohorts and its implications for the provision of qualified personnel to farming enterprises. The article concludes with evidence-based recommendations for improving labor resource management in the agrarian sector, aiming to enhance the efficiency of agricultural labor potential.
