Methods for calculating and assessing the composition of IT-data center equipment

The article is devoted to the problem of integrated assessment of information processing capabilities by computing facilities of a data processing center (DPC). Within the framework of this problem, the question of calculating and evaluating the composition of data center computing facilities is quite acute. A verbal algorithm has been developed for the step-by-step calculation of the area of the machine room, the number of computing racks and the electrical resource required for their reliable operation. The given example illustrates a technique that allows solving the problem of synthesis for the real composition of computational tools.
